Next.js Website Rebuild for Calgary Chiropractic Clinic

Lakeview Chiropractic is a Calgary-based chiropractic clinic committed to helping patients recover, move better, and live with less pain. Their previous website was visually loud and salesy in a way that undercut the calm, trustworthy feeling a healthcare provider needs to project. The content also wasn't doing enough work to capture the full range of services they offer. The goal was a rebuild that would reflect the quality of care they provide and give prospective patients the confidence to book.

The Challenge

For a healthcare provider, the website is often the first touchpoint with a new patient. It needs to feel calm and credible, be easy to navigate on a phone, clearly communicate the clinic's services and values, and be backed by content that earns visibility in local search results. A site that looks clinical and trustworthy but nobody finds isn't fully serving the business. Lakeview Chiropractic needed a site that delivered on all of that.

Design & Development Approach

Ground-Up Rebuild with Next.js: Rather than patching over the existing site, the project started fresh with Next.js and TypeScript as the foundation. This gave us a modern, component-driven architecture with strong performance characteristics and a codebase that's easy to maintain and extend going forward.

Mobile-First Responsive Design: With Tailwind CSS driving the visual layer, the site was built mobile-first and tested across a range of screen sizes. Chiropractic patients of all ages are finding services on their phones, and the site needed to feel effortless regardless of the device they're using.

SEO-Optimized Content: Alongside the development work, more than 30 content pages were researched, written, and structured for local search performance. This meant identifying the right keywords for each service and location, building proper content hierarchy throughout the site, and writing copy that speaks to the needs of Calgary patients while giving search engines clear, accurate signals about what the clinic offers. Every page was written with both the reader and the algorithm in mind.

Firebase Backend Integration: Firebase was integrated to handle backend functionality, giving the site a reliable and scalable infrastructure layer without the overhead of a traditional server setup.

Analytics and Tracking: Google Analytics was configured to provide the clinic with clear visibility into how visitors are finding and using the site: which pages are drawing traffic, where users are dropping off, and how digital marketing efforts translate to real interest.

Email Migration to Google Workspace

One of the less visible but highly impactful parts of this project was migrating the clinic's email away from their shared hosting provider and onto Google Workspace. Shared hosting email can be limiting in terms of deliverability and tooling, and the clinic was ready for something more robust. Google Workspace brought a familiar Gmail interface, reliable deliverability, and the full suite of Google productivity tools. The migration was handled without disruption to the clinic's day-to-day communications.

Results

The rebuilt Lakeview Chiropractic website went live with a strong foundation across every dimension that matters. The mobile experience is smooth and accessible, and the visual design finally does justice to the quality of care the clinic provides. With over 30 fully optimized content pages in place, the site is well-positioned to grow its presence in local search results for the services they offer. And with Google Workspace handling email, their professional communications are stable and dependable. It's a complete digital upgrade, inside and out.
